Right about now, somewhere in Beijing, there is a frustrated scientist – who is a closeted General Hospital watcher – who wishes he was allowed to follow in the footsteps of Mikkos Cassadine and build his own weather machine. This poor sap would be a dang hero today!
The folks at the Wall Street Journal are brilliant (most days) and I find myself reading the WSJ in print and online every day. When a topic hits the opinion page, it’s usually a great piece of analysis.
Today was no exception.
The leading industrialized nations meet in Japan. Hoist a few glasses of Sake and announce an environmental accord to reduce greenhouse gasses. Bravo! The world has been saved from its inhabitants!!
Am I referring to Kyoto? Yes. Am I referring to the current G-8 summit? Yes again.
