Barbecue is a very subjective style of cooking. They’re all personal to the pitmaster and can sometimes be the center of a friendly argument. Everyone seems to have their favorite.

I have included the books below because they are my favorites when I am looking for a new ‘que recipe or want to try something different. There’s no need to settle for ‘BBQ in a bag’ that many restaurants serve. Try smoking your own and you’ll never want to eat bad ‘que again!
