I could go on for hours about this, but now is not the time. Lame duck Republican rep Joe Knowlenberg of Michigan illustrates my point: Republicans have largely abandoned conservative principles.

Until Republicans realize that there is little difference between moderates and Democrats, the electorate will vote Democrat because they make juicier promises.
