In my post yesterday, ‘Another Reason to be Bummed – Low Gas Prices‘, I illustrated the fact that the mainstream media seem to trip over themselves to balance any bit of good economic news with a double heap of perceived negative connotation – just to keep us on edge.

Today, the Labor Department that wholesale prices dripped by 2.8 percent – the greatest drop in 60 years. As an American consumer, you would think this is a good sign, especially with the recent economic uncertainty, right? Wrong.

The AP said that because the decrease in wholesale prices relieve inflation fears, the Fed may be inclined to reduce lending rates again. Do you ever feel that no news is good news?

Apparently, that’s the policy of the Associated Press.
