Many traffic safety experts say that talking – or doing anything – while driving is unsafe.

Does that include your car talking to the traffic lights??

Audi is sponsoring a project called ‘Travolution’ in its home town of Ingolstadt, Germany. 46 traffic lights are ‘smart lights’ that communicate with Audis equipped with the system. They are designed to reduce unnecessary stop light times and to keep traffic moving and optimize travel, which will reduce trip time and fuel consumed.
