Dear Chrysler,

Now that you are in your post-Daimler era, I’m glad that you have come to my humble blog for advice on who to partner up with next. I’m positive that it was because of my deft post yesterday that you chose Nissan as your new global partner with for a new generation of automobiles.

It’s no surprise that it was Nissan. Based in Japan with European ties via Renault, Nissan brings value to Chrysler, much as Mitsubishi did in the late 70′s. To Nissan’s credit, it establishes a ‘Big Three’ anchor as the number 3 Japanese automaker plots an assault on the current numbers 1 & 2 – Toyota and Honda.

For a long while, Chrysler was truly ‘moving forward’ under the helm of Lee Iacocca. For the past several years, Chrysler has been a tad boring.  Don’t get me wrong – as a former Dodge Charger lover,

I was hopeful that the reintroduction of the Charger was going to be ‘cool’. As it turned out, it was more like chilly. No matter, I am excited and curious to see what the new-age muscle cars may look like.

I’m sure that your two company’s combined knowledge and skill will produce some great results. Try not to focus on the financial woes and produce great automobiles. Your ressurection will soon follow.

Thank you for reading – I’ll let you get back to your CAD screens.

Kind regards,
