I wanted to get much of my research done early today so I could get outside and start my weekend a little early.

While reading my logs today, I noticed I had two hits from the Seychelles, so I wanted to send a shout out to them – thanks!! (I first learned of the Seychelles many years ago from a 60 Minutes piece. I believe it was Morley Safer who portrayed the Seychelles as a haven for spies…maybe it was my ‘Boris & Natasha’ post yesterday?!?)

Also a big deal, but obviously not being touted by the MSM is the plummeting crude price, now approaching $120. I’ve noticed that service stations are all out of the the $4/gal numbers – even at the smaller in-town stations. Out on the major highways here in Northern NJ, they are ramping up for drive time tonight; we are a BIG fill-up destination for Upstate New Yorkers who pass through NJ on their way back home.

Hopefully, these falling prices will give some relief to those heading off on vacation or taking a long-weekend jaunt.
